Your Gift Helps Provide Inpatient Hospice Care
Our success is due to the support of volunteers, donors, and our local communities.
Generous donors help to maintain a state-of-the-art facility with six patient suites, a beautiful family living room overlooking gardens, conference and counseling rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, children’s playroom, a chapel, and several private gathering areas.
Your gift ensures long-term existence of the only inpatient hospice care facility north of Lewiston.
A portion of the funds raised is designated for our Charity Care program. Charity Care funding is available to assist patients and families who are underinsured, uninsured, or without other financial means with the expenses associated with care received at the Aroostook House of Comfort. It is our mission to provide quality end-of-life care regardless of one’s ability to pay.
Supporting our mission of providing individuals and their loved ones compassionate care, comfort, dignity, and support when patient needs are greater than home hospice can provide.
The Aroostook Hospice Foundation, owner of the Aroostook House of Comfort, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
